To build a brand, there needs to be a foundation. The bedrock is always strategy. Then come the brand building blocks. The typeface, icons, color palette, photography and type treatments. And some cheeky illustrations.

While the strategy is being translated into a visual tool kit, the pieces have been formed into a tagline (revealed later) and tone of voice. The important part of this process is to show the client that TOV is not one note. Their brand has a full personality, able to express a full range of emotions. And of course, to express functional messaging in that tone as well.
